1 floppy- The floppy drive light is on when the computer reads data from or writes data
drive to the floppy drive. Wait until this light turns off before you remove the floppy
activity disk from the drive.

2 hard-drive The hard drive light is on when the computer reads data from or writes data to
activity the hard drive. The light might also be on when a device such as your CD player
light is operating.
3 floppy- Press to eject a floppy disk from the floppy drive.

4 diagnostic Use the lights to help you troubleshoot a computer problem based on the
lights (4) diagnostic code. For more information, see
5 USB 2.0 Use the front USB connectors for devices that you connect occasionally, such as
connectors flash memory keys or cameras, or for bootable USB devices (see
(2) for more information on booting to a USB device).
It is recommended that you use the back USB connectors for devices that
typically remain connected, such as printers and keyboards.
6 IEEE 1394 Attach high-speed serial multimedia devices, such as digital video cameras.
