H7 MONITOR THE CTM PID SBLTLMP

H8 CHECK THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FOR AN OPEN

Measure the voltage between GEM C239 pin 12, circuit 450 (DG/LG), harness side and ground.
Is any voltage indicated?
Yes
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
GO to H11.
Monitor the CTM PID SBLTLMP while toggling the active command SBLT LAMP OFF and ON.
Does the CTM PID SBLTLMP indicate OFF---, ON---?
Yes
GO to H8.
No
GO to H11.
Measure the resistance between instrument cluster C237 pin 10, component side and C236 pin 2, component
side.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to H9.
