Place Drobo into standby in order to safely remove
Drobo from the PC or disconnect power from
Drobo.
Note:
Before removing drives or power from
Drobo, wait until all lights on Drobo go dark except
for the power light that will turn orange.
Erases all data and reformats the hard drives in
your Drobo. Two prompts will ask you to confirm
your decision before the process begins. Once the
format process begins, you will have the option to
format your drives in HFS+, which is the
recommended and default Mac OS file system, or
FAT32, which will allow you to use Drobo behind
any NAS appliance or interchangeably between
Mac and Windows PCs.
Warning:
If you agree to proceed after the second
prompt, the format will begin. This process is
irreversible and all data stored on Drobo will be
erased.
Identifies the particular Drobo the Drobo
Dashboard is reporting on. This is useful when
multiple Drobos are connected to the same Mac.
The data bay indicator lights will blink green and
red for several seconds.
Opens a web browser and takes you directly to the
Drobo product registration website.
Tip:
Register your Drobo to gain access to special
offers and customer support.
Select to display all alerts regarding the condition
of Drobo.
Select to only display alerts that warn of an
important change that could lead to data loss in the
near future.
This is the default setting.
Select to only display alerts that warn of a critical
status that could lead to immediate data loss.
Click to see if newer versions of Drobo Dashboard
and/or Drobo Operating System are available on
the Internet. The version numbers of the currently
installed Drobo Dashboard and Drobo Operating
System are shown.
