Setting the Size Units (SIZE UNIT)

You can select the units for the print size to be indicated
on the LCD when the SIZE button is pressed, or shown
in the PRINT SIZE LIST on the Setup menu, as mm or
inches.

Display the Setup display.

Select SIZE UNIT by pressing v or V of the
control button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Size Unit display appears.

Select mm or inch by pressing v or V of the control
button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Setup display is retrieved.
Note
Inches are not supported as units for zoom setting of the
Setup menu or focal distance of the properties display in
PLAY mode.

Selecting the Format of the Output
Signal (VIDEO OUT)
When a video monitor is connected to the VIDEO OUT
jack to monitor images, select the format of the output
signal: NTSC or PAL.

Select VIDEO OUT by pressing v or V of the
control button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Video Out display appears.

Select PAL or NTSC by pressing v or V of the
control button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Setup display is retrieved.
When PAL is selected
If NTSC is selected, you can monitor images both on the
LCD and the video monitor. If PAL is selected, you have
to select the monitoring device with the MONITOR
(PAL) switch, the LCD or video monitor.
LCD: For monitoring on the LCD
VIDEO OUT: For monitoring on the connected video
monitor
