PWA-DWNLD-350-JIG

[A] Update procedure
Important:
• Turn OFF the power before installing and removing the download jig.
• Do not turn OFF the power during the update. The data could be damaged and not be
operated properly.
• Ensure that the firmware to be updated is for the intended model.
• Be sure to check the version of the firmware after it is updated.
• A C94 error message appears when either of the following Main PC boards is installed to e-
STUDIO181/211.
- The Main PC board for e-STUDIO163/203 in which e-STUDIO166/206 firmware is installed
- The Main PC board for e-STUDIO163/166/203/206 in which e-STUDIO181/211 firmware is
installed
Be sure not to make a mistake in the combination of the Main PC board and the firmware
since the error message does not appear if there is an incorrect combination. Refer to the
following for each equipment condition according to the combination of the Main PC board
and the firmware.
P.5-19 " [C94] Firmware update error"
(1) Write the data to the download jig.
P.6-6 "6.1.2 Writing the data to the download jig (PWA-DWNLD-350-JIG)"
(2) Turn OFF the power of the equipment.
(3) Remove the rear cover.
