2-2. PRECAUTIONS ON ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENTS

(1) A lens cover detection switch (UC board) is provided at the part for attaching the projection lens to prevent power from
being supplied when the lens hood is disconnected. When performing electrical measurements with the lens hood open,
fix the switch with adhesive tape and clear the protect so that power is supplied.
To attach the lens hood removed, be sure to remove the adhesive tape.
(2) When the C board is removed, various protect functions operate and no power is supplied. Before beginning electrical
measurements, clear the protect functions.
1Connect Pin #º (CVR-PRT-CB) and Pin !¶ (SUB+5V) of CN4002 of the BC board using a 1 kΩ resistor.
2Connect Pin !§ (FAN PROT), Pin 3 (GND), Pin !¶ (TEMP PROT), and Pin 4 of CN3602 of the BB board using
wiring.
Be sure to disconnect them after completing measurements.
(3) Use the following servicing tools.
