Press the PTT button to start the Private Call.

The display shows Calling... <Number>.

Hold the radio vertically 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5.0 cm) from
your mouth.

When you are connected, the display shows the ID of the
target radio. Press and hold the PTT button to talk. Release
the PTT button to listen.
OR
If no acknowledgment is received, the display shows No
acknowledge.
OR
If the target radio does not respond before the time out, the
display shows No answer.

to return to the Home screen.

Making a Telephone Call (Trunking Only)

This feature allows you to make calls similar to standard phone
calls to a mobile or landline phone.
Procedure:
Press the preprogrammed Quick Access (One-Touch) Phone
Call button to dial the preprogrammed phone number and
proceed to Step 5.

display shows the last transmitted phone number.

Press the Menu Select button directly below Cnts to scroll
through and select the required ID.

Use the keypad to enter the required phone number.

Press and release the PTT button to dial the phone number.
