Answering Machine Operations

When a new message is recorded on the answering machine, the base display flashes "o#o 01" (or 02
if there are 2 messages, etc.), or if the memory is full it flashes "FULL".
You can use the answering machine keys on the corded base to access some of the answering machine
functions.
During message playback, press to repeat the current message, and press

twice to skip back to the previous message.
Press to delete the current message.

Press and hold to playback messages in standby mode.

DIRECT ACCESS MEMORY ON A CORDLESS HANDSET

There are 2 direct access memories (Keys 1 & 2) in addition to the phonebook memory. A long press
on the keys in standby mode will automatically dial the stored phone number.

Add Direct Access Memory to a Cordless Handset

From the home screen, press
Press again to select "PHONEBOOK".
Press to "DIRECT MEM." and then press
Press to "KEY 1" or "KEY 2" and then press
>"NO NUMBER" is displayed if it is empty. Otherwise, the stored name is displayed.
Press to enter the menu options.
Press again to select "EDIT NUMBER".
>"ENTER NAME" is displayed if it is empty. Otherwise, the stored name is displayed.
Note:
If the main phonebook is already full, "MEMORY FULL" is displayed, and you cannot store or edit a
direct memory until a phonebook entry has been deleted.
Enter the name of the contact and press
>If you make a mistake, press

Enter the number of your contact and press
