LANC stands for Local Application Control
Bus System. The
controlling the tape transport of video
equipment and other peripherals connected to
the video equipment. This jack has the same
function as the jack indicated as CONTROL L
or REMOTE.

Control Bus System. La prise de contrôle
sert à contrôler l'entraînement de la bande de

périphériques connectés à l'équipement
vidéo. La fonction de cette prise est identique
à celle de la prise qui porte la mention
CONTROL L ou REMOTE.
