Recording video or TV
programmes (DCR-PC104E/PC105E
only)
Note
Your camcorder only records pictures for
viewing on a PAL system based TV and VCR.
See "Using your camcorder abroad" on page 291
for the TV colour systems used in each country
and region.
If your TV or VCR is a monaural type
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the video output jack and the white or
red plug to the audio output jack on the VCR or
the TV. When the white plug is connected, the
left channel audio is output, and when the red
plug is connected, the right channel audio is
output.
When using the i.LINK cable
•Before recording, make sure if the DV IN
indicator appears on the screen. The DV IN
indicator may appear on both equipment.
•Recording of only the picture or sound cannot
be done.
Selecting a video jack
The supplied A/V connecting cable is equipped
with an S video plug and a video plug. Change
the setting for the jack depending on the VCR or
the TV. The default setting is VIDEO.
See page 60 for details of the S video jack.

Remarque
Votre caméscope enregistre uniquement des
images pouvant être visionnées sur un téléviseur
et un magnétoscope utilisant le système PAL.
Reportez-vous à la section « Utilisation de votre
caméscope à l'étranger » à la page 291 pour plus
d'informations sur les systèmes couleurs des
téléviseurs utilisés dans chaque pays ou zone.
Si votre téléviseur ou magnétoscope est de
type mono
Raccordez la fiche jaune du cordon de liaison
audio et vidéo à la prise de sortie vidéo et la fiche
blanche ou la fiche rouge à la prise de sortie
audio du magnétoscope ou du téléviseur.
Lorsque la fiche blanche est branchée, le signal
sonore est émis par le canal de gauche. Lorsque
la fiche rouge est branchée, le signal sonore est
émis par le canal de droite.
Utilisation d'un câble i.LINK
•Avant de raccorder, assurez-vous que
l'indicateur DV IN apparaît à l'écran.
L'indicateur DV IN peut s'afficher sur les deux
appareils.
•Il est impossible d'enregistrer uniquement
l'image ou le son.
Sélection d'une prise vidéo
Le cordon de liaison audio et vidéo fourni
d'origine est équipé d'une fiche S-vidéo et d'une
fiche vidéo. Modifiez le réglage de la prise en
fonction du magnétoscope ou du téléviseur. Le
réglage par défaut est VIDEO. Pour plus de
détails sur la prise S-vidéo, reportez-vous à la
page 60.

(2) Appuyez sur MENU.
(3) Sélectionnez VIDEOINPUT sous
appuyez sur EXEC.
(4) Pour utiliser la prise vidéo, sélectionnez
VIDEO ou pour utiliser la prise S-vidéo,
sélectionnez S VIDEO, puis appuyez sur
EXEC.
