    2.6.2 Intel High Definition Audio The KINO-9654G4 onboard audio connector can connect to an optional audio kit. The codec on the optional audio kit is connected to the ICH8 controller through the Intel® High Definition Audio serial link. The DMA engines in the controller move samples of digitally encoded data between system memory and the audio kit codec.
