HESD Indicator and
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)
The HESD indicator ( ) and the
malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) ( )
light when there is any abnormality in the
HESD (Honda Electronic Steering
Damper).
The HESD indicator should also go on for
a few seconds and then go off when the
ignition switch is turned ON and the
engine stop switch is turned to RUN.
If the HESD indicator and the malfunction
indicator lamp (MIL) light at any other
time, reduce speed and take your
motorcycle to a Honda dealer as soon as
possible.
