    2.3.3 COM2 Connector The ARK-3382 provides a D-sub 9-pin connector, which offers one RS- 232/422/485 serial communication interface port of COM2. The default setting of COM1 is RS-232. Please refer to section 4.1 “Jumper Settings” and section 6 “Full Disassembly Procedure” to set up RS-422 or RS-485.

    The ARK-3382 provides a PS/2 keyboard/mouse connector. A 6-pin mini-DIN connector is located on the rear metal face plate of the ARK- 3382. The ARK-3382 comes with an adapter to convert from the 6-pin mini-DIN connector to two 6-pin mini-DIN connectors for PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 mouse connection.

    2.3.7 VGA Connector The ARK-3382 provides a high resolution VGA interface by a D-sub 15- pin connector to support a VGA CRT monitor. It supports VGA and VESA, up to 1600 x 1200 @85-Hz resolution and up to 32 MB shared memory.

    2.3.8 USB Connector The ARK-3382 provides three connectors, one in the rear panel and two in the front panel of USB interface, which gives complete Plug & Play and hot swapping for up to 127 external devices. The USB interface complies with USB UHCI, Rev.

    Box Computer, you should be aware of this. 3.2 Setting jumpers You can configure your ARK-3382 to match the needs of your applica- tion by setting jumpers. A jumper is the simplest kind of electrical switch. It consists of two metal pins and a small metal clip (often protected by a plastic cover) that slides over the pins to connect them.
