Set Up QoS for Internet Access
You can give prioritized Internet access to the following kinds of traffic:
•
Specific applications
•
Specific online games
•
Individual Ethernet LAN ports of the router
•
A specific computer, smartphone, or tablet by MAC address
To specify order of traffic importance, create a policy for the kind of traffic and add the policy
to the QoS Policy table in the QoS Setup screen. For convenience, the QoS Policy table
lists many common applications that can benefit from QoS handling.
QoS for Applications and Online Gaming
To set up the priority rule for an application or online gaming:
1.
Sign in to the web user interface.
2.
Select Router Settings > Advanced > Quality of Service.
The following screen appears.

Click Setup QoS rule.
