(4) Disconnect the AC Input Plug of the UPS from a wall outlet (commercial power) to bring it into backup
status.
Under this condition, check the display lamps and a beep of the UPS.
Are they the same status in the below figure?
< When the battery is sufficient >
Beep One beep at intervals of 4 second
Yes
The operation is normal.
Proceed to (5).
No
The operation is abnormal.
● If the display is one of them described in "C. Failure (display and beep when a failure occurs in equipment)"
on page 23, take necessary measures according to the remedy and then go back to (4).
● If no Battery mode is performed and the UPS and the connected devices stop, insufficient charging of the
battery is suspected.
Connect the AC Input Plug of the UPS to a wall outlet (commercial power), charge the battery for at least 8
hours, and then go back to (4).
