Operation and function

This chapter contains important information on the operation of
the appliance.

Safety precautions

WARNING
Danger of burns!
All parts of the appliance become very hot during opera-
tion!
Do not touch the appliance during operation.

CAUTION
Damage to the non-stick coating by scratching!
Do not use sharp cutlery on the baking plate; use a wooden

spatula.

Using the appliance

Turn the control knob in anti-clockwise direction as far as it

will go (OFF).
Connect up the appliance by inserting the heating appliance
‹
plug into the jack on the appliance and the mains plug into a
plug socket.
The red indicator light signals that the appliance is ready for use.
Turn the control knob to the desired temperature level; see
‹
table in chapter Operating elements.
The green indicator light comes on and signals that the appliance
is heating up. When the set temperature is reached, the green
indicator light goes out automatically.
NOTE
If you have set the 2nd red mark (highest temperature level)

it is possible that the green indicator light does not go out
because the appliance is heating constantly.
