Safety Devices

The device has a safety switch (PICTURE A). It can only be switched on if the milk
container (6) is in the base station (3). If the milk container is removed from the base
station during use, this switches off automatically. If the device is then to continue to be
used, place the milk container back in the base station and switch the device on again.

Preparation and Operation

NOTES
• Place the base station on a dry, fl at, stable, heat-resistant surface that is resistant
to splashing.
• The surfaces of furniture may possibly contain elements which can attack and
soften the adjustable feet of the device. If necessary, place a suitable pad below
the adjustable feet.
• There may still be some production residues on the device. To avoid harmful
effects to your health, clean the device thoroughly before you fi rst use it (see
the "Cleaning and Care" chapter).
Selection Button and Functions
The selection button (4) can be used to switch between the different programmes. The
device has four programmes. The
selected programme via its colour.
Programme
KALT
(COLD)
WARM
SCHAUM
(FOAM)
HEISS
(HOT)
Example: If milk at a temperature of approx. 15 °C is used, it is heated to approx.
50 °C after around 2 minutes and to approx. 70 °C after around 3 minutes.
To switch between the different programmes, press the selection button several times.
The programmes can be selected in the following order:
KALT (COLD) > WARM > SCHAUM (FOAM) > HEISS (HOT)
