GettING StARted Opening the Package The FM2642 Wall Mount and accompanying hardware have been carefully packed in a carton designed to protect it from transportation damage. - Page 5 INStAllAtION SteP 1 Read and understand all of the enclosed instructions and verify that all parts are present and appear in good working order before you begin. SteP 2 Attach the Wall Plate to the wall. Wood Stud Mounting The Wall Plate must be mounted, at the top and bottom, to a solid wooden stud. Locate the stud and mark the center and edge locations.
- Page 6 INStAllAtION SteP 3 In the hardware bag provided, locate the 4 pan head bolts that fit the thread pattern for your television. Depending on the spacing of holes on the back of your television, choose from the various mounting options listed below to attach the mounting bracket to your television. If necessary, use the M6 x 10 bolts (A) to connect the included extension arms vertically, horizontally or diagonally to reach the television mounting holes.

- Page 9 INStAllAtION SteP 4 Next, hang the pre-assembled TV unit on the Wall Plate. Slide the protruding M8 x 12 head hex bolt (A) on the bracket attached to your TV into the groove on the mounted Wall Plate, illustrated in Figure 8. Use a second M8 x 12 bolt (B) to secure the TV assembly to the wall plate, and then tighten the top bolt (A) on the TV assembly.
- Page 10 INStAllAtION SteP 5 NOTE: Angle adjustment should be done by at least two people. • (A) With assistance, adjust the bracket arm at the joint nearest the wall up to 170 degrees or at the middle joint up to 360 degrees. Pay attention to wiring to ensure wires are not damaged during angle adjustment.
