Printing Trouble
When an error occurs and printing is disabled, the type of
error is conveyed by the state of the indicators. Resolve the
problem as shown below.
Indicator Meaning/Solution
ALARM indicator lit The printer is malfunctioning.
(Red) tConsult a Sony service
ALARM indicator lit The print paper is not feeding
(Orange) correctly.
tLoad the paper roll properly
There may be a crease in the print
paper.
tCheck for creases, and cut off
The ink ribbon may be severed.
tTape together the severed
The ribbon cartridge has run out.
