ACTIVATING THE PEDOMETER Your pedometer was originally shipped in Sleep Mode to conserve battery life. To activate your pedometer after purchase: Locate the battery insulator pull-tab on the back of the unit, as shown below. Slowly pull the plastic strip from the unit as illustrated by the arrow below. The display will activate. -
