Voltage Regulator Module

Each CPU must have a dedicated voltage regulator module (VRM) which
adjusts the voltage supplied to the CPU. The VRM for the first CPU (CPU
1) is embedded on the system board.

Memory

The system comes standard with 32-MB of Error Checking and Correcting
(ECC) RAM. System RAM is expandable up to 512-MB ECC using 60-ns
72-bit DIMM (4 DIMM sockets).

Expansion Slots

The system features eight expansion slots: five PCI slots, one ISA slot, one
PCI/RAID port, and one shared PCI/ISA slot.
The PCI bus provides peripheral transactions at a system clock speed of up
to 33 MHz.

InforManager™

The system is equipped with InforManager™ (IFM), a special feature
consisting of both hardware and software designed to monitor and report
the operation status of the system and its devices: CPUs, power supplies,
RAM, ambient temperatures, voltages, and fan operation. For further
information about the InforManager™, refer to the InforManager™ User's
Guide.

Floppy Controller and Connector

The floppy drive controller and connector on the system board can support
up to two floppy drives of 1.44-MB and 2.88-MB formats.
