Connecting Peripherals

Refer to the following illustration and procedures when connecting optional
peripherals to your system.

Connect the keyboard and mouse to their respective ports, using the

pictures embossed on the system's rear cover as a guide.
Connect the monitor video cable to the video port.

Connect the monitor power cable to an AC outlet or, preferably, a

surge control outlet station.
If your system is configured for AC power, verify that the voltage

selector switches on the power supplies are set for the proper voltage
(115V or 230V).
Connect the system power cables to the socket(s) on the rear of the
5.
system.
6.
Connect the other end of the system power cables to the appropriate
power source (AC or DC, depending on your system's configuration).
