When setting the cutting depth, the thickness of the material being cut should be
taken into consideration. For best results:
when cutting wood, set the depth of the cut to be slightly greater than the
thickness of the material.
when cutting plastic, set the depth of the cut to be slightly greater than the
thickness of the material. If melting occurs, a greater depth setting should
improve results.
when cutting metal, the depth of the cut should be set about 1mm greater
than the thickness of the material. Do not cut steel or galvanized steel. When
cutting sheet metal, allow the machine to rest three minutes for every two
minutes of work.
this Saw is not recommended for cutting plasterboard because the dust may
cause the Blade Guard to stick.
