Radar car assembly and lamp replacement

ress the two white radar dishes
onto the radar mast. Align the key
tab on the radar mast assembly and
insert it into the slotted hole. Insert the
figure into the nub on the seat, facing
the radar screen.
To replace the bulb that lights the
radar screen, first remove the radar
antenna platform from the upper hous-
ing by pulling it off the shaft. Next,
remove the screw on the underside of

Be sure to remove only the screw located between the ribs on the underside of the frame.
The other screw secures the weight to the frame and should not be removed.

Carefully lift up the upper housing
from the car while pushing the four
barbed posts through the mounting
holes in the flatcar. Unscrew the bulb
and replace it with Lionel lamp no.
600-2314-300, available at your Lionel
Authorized Service Center or Lionel
Service.
To reassemble the car, reverse the
procedure.
