Replacing the drumhead lamp in your observation car

T he drumhead on your observation car is illuminated by one lamp, Lionel part
no. 610-9158-330. During the course of normal operations, you may find that this lamp
requires replacement. Replacement lamps are available at your authorized Lionel Service Center
or from Lionel Service in Chesterfield, Michigan. Follow these steps and refer to Figure 8 as you
replace the lamps.
1. Remove the hex nut from the underside of the rounded skirting.
2. Lift away the rounded roof section, the rear door, and the rounded skirting.
3. Unscrew the expired lamp and install the replacement.
4. Replace the rounded roof section, the rear door, and the rounded skirting, securing them
with the hex nut.
