Auto-Restart function:
When the power is off and then on, the unit automatically
restores the previous function settings.
Easy-cleaned panel:
The front panel may be easily removed for periodic cleaning.
Self-diagnosis and Auto-protection function:
This function can electronically detect the errors and display
the diagnosis by number displayed on the LED window on
the indoor unit.
Then the unit will automatically switch to protection mode.

If the air conditioner is used outside of the above
conditions, certain safety protection features may come
into operation and cause the unit to function abnormally.

Room relative humidity less than 80%. If the air
conditioner operates in excess of this figure, the surface
of the air conditioner may attract condensation. Please
set the vertical air flow louver to its maximum angle
(vertically to the floor), and set HIGH fan mode.

Optimum performance will be achieved within these
operating temperature.
Suggestion: For the unit adopts an Electric Heater, when
the outside ambient temperature is below 0

C, we strongly
recommend you to keep the machine plugged in in order to
guarantee it running smoothly.

Manual operation

Units are equipped with a switch to activate the emergency
operation mode. This switch can be used as an emergency
switch to turn the system on and off if the remote control fails
to work.

NOTE: The unit must be turned off before operating the
manual control button. If the unit is operational,
continue pressing the manual control button until the
unit is off.

Open and lift the front panel up to an angle until it
remains fixed with a clicking sound.

One press of the manual control button will lead to

C
the forced AUTO operation. If you press the button twice
within five seconds, the unit will operate under forced
COOL operation.

Close the panel firmly to its original position.

It is recommended not to use for ongoing operation of
the unit.
T o restore the remote control operation, use the remote
control directly.

Optimal operation

To achieve optimal performance, please note the following:
Adjust the air flow direction correctly so that it is not
directed on people.
Adjust the temperature to achieve the highest
comfort level. Do not adjust the unit to excessive
temperature levels.
Close doors and windows on COOL or HEAT modes,
otherwise performance may be reduced.
Use TIMER ON button on the remote control to select a
time you want to start your air conditioner.
Do not put any object near the air inlet or air outlet, as
the efficiency of the air conditioner may be reduced and
it may even stop running.
Clean the air filter periodically, otherwise cooling or
heating performance may be reduced.
Do not operate the unit with horizontal louvre in
closed position.

Using the remote control

Location of the remote control

Keep the remote control where its signals can reach the
receiver of the indoor unit. (a distance of 8m is allowed).
When you select the timer operation, the remote control
automatically transmits a signal to the indoor unit at the
specified time.
If you keep the remote control in a position that hinders
proper signal transmission, a time lag of up to 15 minutes
may occur.

The air conditioner will not operate if curtains, doors or
other materials block the signals from the remote control
to the indoor unit.
Prevent any liquid from falling into the remote control.
Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight
or heat.
If the infrared signal receiver on the indoor unit is
exposed to direct sunlight, the air conditioner may not
function properly. Use curtains to prevent the sunlight
from falling on the receiver.
If other electrical appliances react to the remote
control, either move these appliances or consult your
local dealer.

Replacing batteries

The remote control uses two AAA batteries.

Slide the cover of the battery compartment off according
to the arrow direction, then replace the old batteries with
new ones.

Insert the new batteries making sure that the(+) and (-) of
battery are installed correctly.

Reattach the cover by sliding it back into position. After
replacing batteries, set the remote control clock.
NOTE: Do not dispose batteries as unsorted municipal
waste. Collection of such waste separately for special
treatment is necessary.

MODE Select Button:
Each time you push the button, a mode is selected in
a sequence that goes from AUTO DRY FAN COOL and
HEAT, as the following figure indicates:

NOTE: COOL only model has no HEAT feature.

ON/OFF Button:
Push this button to start or stop operation. If you keep
pressing for more than 2 seconds, the self cleaning
feature will activate.

CLOCK/TIMER Button:
First press of the button will initiate the TIMER ON
setting program, the timer on indicator light illuminates
and the setting time flashes at 1Hz. Second press of the
button will activate the TIMER OFF setting program, the
timer off indicator light illuminates and the setting time
flashes at 1Hz.
Third press of the button will revert back to display the
clock time.
