Central Processing Unit (CPU)

The motherboard comes with a surface mount the Intel® BGA1288 Core i7/i5/i3 Mobile
processor.
1.4.1

Installing the CPU Cooler

The Intel® Core i7/i5/i3 Mobile processor requires a specially designed Cooler assembly to
ensure optimum thermal condition and performance.
1. Place the backplate on the rear side
of the CPU so that the screw bolts
stick through the mounting holes.

Install the motherboard to the chassis before you install the CPU
Cooler assembly.
