Setting the External Digital Input
D-AUX ON I D-AUX OFF (lnltisl setting)
When an ALPINE Ai-NET compatible digital audio processor
(PXA-H701) and a DVD player (DVE-5207) not compatible with
Ai-NET are connected. set D-AUX to ON to enjoy 5. I-channel
surround sound.
You can change the D-AUX NAME display when D-AUX is set to ON.

/ENT when D-AUX is set to ON, and select D-AUX NAME
by turning the Rotary encoder. then press
C\
lENT. After that, turn
the Rotary encoder to select the desired D-AUX NAME.
• Press SOVRCElC> , and select tire D1GITAL-AUX mode, and adjllst
tire voillme, etc.
• After inpllt selection is completed, tllrn tire ignition off and back on
again. Settillg of the optical digital inpllt switch is completed.
• Depending all tire connected alldio processor. DVD player sOllnd
may colllinlle to be Olltpllt, even thollgh the SOllrce is changed to
wlOtherone.

this OCCllrs, set the DVD player's power to OFF.

I f a device having the interrupt feature is connected, audio will be
automatically muted whenever the interrupt signal is received from the
device.
Setting the AUX+ SETUP Mode
AUX+ ON I AUX+ OFF (Initisl Setting)
An external device (such as a portable music player) can be connected
to the iPod Direct connector of this unit. An iPod Direct/RCA Interface
cable (optional) is required.
A portable music device and an iPod cannot be connected to the iPod
Direct connector at the same time.
Changer Name Setting
CHANGER (lnitlsl Setting) I USB I PORTABLE
This setting is used when the head unit is connected to the USB Adapter
for MP3 (KCA-620M). You can set the name to be displayed on the unit
depending on the device

which the USB Adapter for MP3
(KCA-620M) is connected.
Setting the AUX Mode (V-Link)
AUX IN ON I AUX IN OFF (Initisl setting)
You can input TV/video sound by connecting an optional Ai-NET/RCA
Interface cable (KCA-12l B) or Versatile Link Terminal (KCA-41 OC) to
this component.
You can change the AUX name display when AUX IN is set to ON.

turning the Rotary encoder, and then press

After that, turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired AUX name.
If the KCA-410C is connected. it is possible to select two AUX names.
