MAINTENANCE
3. Remove the battery.
4. Use a charger specifically designed for maintenance-free
batteries. Using another type of battery charger may dam-
age the battery and prevent it from becoming fully charged.
5. When installing the battery, connect the positive(+) termi-
nal lead first, then the negative (-) terminal lead.
6. Replace the battery cover and screw.
NOTE: Always keep the ignition switch OFF when servic-
ing the battery. See your KYMCO dealer for diagnosing
electrical system malfunctions and performing repairs.

Fuses

When frequent fuse failures occur, it usually indicates a short
circuit or an overload in the electrical system. The fuses on
your scooter are located to the right of the battery (under the seat).

Spare fuses:
Never use a fuse with a different rating from that speci-
fied. Serious damage to the electrical system or a fire
hazard may result, causing a dangerous loss of lights
or engine power.
