OPERATING ACCESSORY TOOLS

1. Turn the key switch to the on ( I ) position.
2. Press the accessory tool button (Figure 33).
NOTE: The propel system is disabled when the
accessory tool cleaning system is activated.
3. Place the accessory tool on the surface to be
cleaned. Squeeze the spray trigger and slowly pull
the tool backwards while applying downward
pressure (Figure 34). Release the trigger 15 cm / 6
inches from end of stroke.
When returning to the next stroke, push the tool
forward over the same path with trigger released.
Continue this pull and push method with a 5 cm / 2
inch overlap.
NOTE: When cleaning upholstery, follow the cleaning
instructions sewn in the furniture by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Fire Or Explosion Hazard. Do Not
Pick Up Flammable Materials Or Reactive Metals.
4. After cleaning, relieve the water pressure from the
accessory tool before disconnecting the solution
hose. Squeeze trigger for five seconds after turning
the key off.

DRAINING AND CLEANING TANKS

The tanks should be drained and cleaned after each
use. Floor sinks work best for draining machine.

DRAINING AND CLEANING RECOVERY TANK

1. Drive the machine to the disposal area and turn the
key switch to the off position.
2. Hold the recovery tank hose upward, remove the
cap and slowly lower hose to drain (Figure 35).
3. Open the recovery tank cover and rinse out the
inside of the recovery tank with clean water
(Figure 36).
