Do not bend, twist or pull the power cable excessively. Do not
place heavy items on the cable, cut or modify the insulation or
modify the cable. Doing so may cause damage, resulting in an
electric shock or a fire.
If you are not going to use the scanner for a long time, disconnect
the power cable from the AC outlet. If dirt or water accumulates on
the prongs of the plug, it may cause a fire. If there is any dirt or
water on the prongs, it must be removed.
When disconnecting the plug from the AC socket, always pull the
the plug to remove it. Never pull the power cable, as it may cause
damage, resulting in an electric shock or a fire.
Do not insert or disconnect the plug with wet hands. Doing so may
cause electric shock.
