Problem
The display remains
dark when the coffee
machine is switched
on using the On/Off
button -.
The display lights up
but the coffee
machine does not
heat up and no drinks
are prepared.
The machine cannot
be switched using the
On/Off button -.
The coffee machine
switches off suddenly.
Possible cause and remedy
The master switch is at "0".
^ Set the master switch to "I".
or
The plug is not inserted in the socket correctly.
^ Insert the plug in the socket correctly.
or
The main fuse has tripped due to a problem with the
coffee machine, the electricity supply or another
machine.
^ Switch off at the wall socket and unplug it.
^ Contact a qualified electrician or Miele.
The demo setting has been activated.
^ Deactivate the demo mode (see "The Settings menu" -
"Demo mode").
The switching off time programmed using the timer has
been reached.
^ If required, you can select a new switching off time
(see "Timer functions").
or
The plug is not inserted in the socket correctly.
^ Insert the plug in the socket correctly.
