MAINTENANCE
Check the engine's oil level
Check the oil level in the engine when the machine
is horizontal.
Dismantle the engine hood as per the description
on page 18.
Take out the dip stick, wipe off the oil, and insert
again.
The dip stick must be fully screwed down.
Now take out the dip stick again and check the oil
level.
The oil level should lie between the markings on dip
stick. If the level approaches the ADD mark, top up
with oil to the FULL mark on the dip stick.

The oil is filled in the same hole as the dip stick is
FULL
in.
Use engine oil SAE 30 or SAE 10W-30, class CD–
CF (over 0°). Use engine oil SAE 5W-30, class
CD–CF (below 0°).
The total oil volume in the engine is 1.3 litres.

Check the engine's cooling air intake
Dismantle the engine hood as described on page
18.
Check that the cooling intake is free from leaves,
grass and dirt.
If the cooling intake is blocked this will interfere with
the cooling of the engine, which can damage the
engine.
Checking of the fuel pump's air filter
Check regularly that the fuel pump's air filter is free
from dirt.
The filter can when necessary be cleaned with a
brush.
