NOTIFIER® BACnet Gateway-3 An interface that
allows the NFN network to communicate with a
BACnet network.

FTP File Transfer Protocol, used to back up the
NOTIFIER® BACnet Gateway-3 database and
download firmware for field upgrades.

HS-NCM-W/SF/MF High Speed Network Control
Module, a network interface enabling the NOTIFIER®
BACnet Gateway-3 to communicate with other NFN
devices.

IP Address Logical address designating a node on an
IP network with the format NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN,
where NNN groups can be between 0 and 255.
NFN The network of Fire Alarm Control
Panels.Ethernet - Local area network protocol.

Telnet An Internet protocol that allows you to
communicate directly with another computer on the
Internet by specifying the host name, port and terminal
type.
