SSD drives
Two SSD drives (Solid State Disk drives) can be installed in the server blade.
The connection to the onboard controller is established through ports on the
system board.
Onboard SAS/SATA controller
A SAS/SATA controller is integrated on the system board; up to two SAS or
SATA drives can be connected to the controller. The LSI Embedded MegaRAID
software (Software RAID) supports RAID levels 0, 1 and 10. The SAS
functionallity needs to be enabled separately by using a ROM1 SCU Key.

Onboard CNA controller
The CNA controller is integrated on the system board; up to 4 x 1 Gbit/s or 2x
10 Gbit/s can be selected on the CNA controller.

SAS-/SATA-RAID support
RAID levels 0 and 1 are supported for operation of the SSD drives.

Slots for expansion cards
The server blade supports two optional mezzanine cards. This enables Fibre
Channel connections, Infiniband connections and/or additional Ethernet
connections to be implemented.
The following mezzanine cards are available for the server blade:
– 1 Gbit/s Ethernet mezzanine card with 4 ports
– 6 Gbit/s SAS HBA mezzanine card
– 6 Gbit/s SAS RAID mezzanine card
– 8 Gbit/s fiber-channel mezzanine card with 2 ports
– 10 Gbit/s Ethernet mezzanine card with 2 ports
