Utility
Description and brief procedure
Server Setup
Use for extended system configuration of onboard
Utility (SSU)
resources and add-in boards, viewing the system event
log (SEL), setting boot device priority, or setting system
security options.
The SSU can be run from either the configuration
software CD or from a set of bootable diskettes. You can
create the diskettes from the CD.
Information entered via the SSU overrides information
entered via Setup.
FRUSDR Load
Use to update the Field Replacement Unit (FRU),
Utility
Sensor Data Record (SDR), and Desktop Management
Interface (DMI) flash components.
BIOS Update
Use to update the BIOS or recover from a corrupted
Utility
BIOS update.
Firmware
Use to update BMC flash ROM.
Update Utility
Table 3-2 shows the key combinations used to perform certain operations.
