Flying Routes

The Menu Routes is enabled by long pressure on the
Route key.
After this selection the list of Routes stored in the instrument
appears in the lower part of the screen.
Within this list one of the Routes can be selected by
use of the ▼ or ▲ arrow keys and can be activated by
pressing the OK key.
For an activated Route a thick black arrow positioned
in the centre of the compass rose points to the direction
of the next Waypoint. The direction to the next but one
Waypoint is illustrated in shaded mode.
Notice: an activated Route is kept enabled even after
switch-off and switch-on of the instrument! The Route
may only be deactivated by the "Cancel Route" function !
If following switch-on of the instrument a black direction
pointer is visible in the compass rose, it indicates an
activated Route or a "Go To" function still in activity!

3.4.4.1 Distance to Start Site

The instrument memorises the coordinates from where the balloon flight starts (Flightaceptance)
The flight starts being counted if a GND Speed of 10 km/h for more than 60 seconds had been
reached. With the "distance to start" the distance to this point (which is normally the start site)
can be displayed.
