Chapter 9 SATA RAID Setup
9.1 Introduction
To support demanding disk I/O, Intel 6300ESB chipset integrates two
Serial ATA controllers with software RAID 0 and 1 capability. RAID 0
stripping increases the storage performance and is designed to speed up
data transfer rates for disk-intensive applications. RAID 1 mirroring pro-
tects valuable data that might be lost in the event of a hard drive failure.

9.2 Entering Setup
Turn on the computer and press <Ctrl> + <A> when following message
prompted to enter the "Adaptec Embedded SATA HostRAID Controller"
for setup:
