Be careful that no moisture enters the printer. There is a possibility that the electric circuit inside the printer could cause a short circuit. The area around the print head should be cleaned once per week, or whenever foreign objects, such as dust or ink, cause omitted dots, or whenever ink drops are attached around the print head.
