D Battery pack
To remove the battery pack:
Turn the screw counterclockwse, then pull the battery pack
n the drecton of the arrow as shown below.
To attach the battery pack:
Insert the battery pack n the IC-M31 completely, then turn
the screw clockwse.
NEVER remove or nsert the battery pack when the
transcever s wet or soled. Ths may result water or dust
gettng nto the transcever/battery pack and may result n
the transcever beng damaged.

NOTE: When removng or attachng the battery pack, use
a con or flat-blade screwdrver to loosen or tghten the
bottom screw.
CAUTION:
When attachng or removng a battery pack, make sure
the rubber seal s set n the groove of the battery pack
correctly. If the seal s not neatly n the groove t may be
damaged when attachng the battery pack.
If the seal s damaged, waterproofing s not guaranteed.
NOTE:
When attachng a battery pack, make sure dust or else does
not adhere to the rubber seal. If dust or else s on the seal
when attachng a battery pack, the water resstant may be
reduced.
Make sure both the rubber seal (purple) s set to the groove
correctly and dust or else does not adhere to t.
