Once a key CD has been registered, if the connection to the battery is interrupted - for example
during a service - the ESN function is actuated and the main unit goes into the operation lock
status. When this happens, the main unit cannot be returned to normal by turning the power
back ON. You must follow the procedure below in order to cancel the operation lock status.

While the ESN security setting is in
effect, and in the operation lock
status (when the ignition key is at
the OFF position), the indicator on
the device flashes in red.

After the battery is connected,
when the power to the main unit is
turned ON the program is read
(provided the map disc is inserted),
and the opening screen is
displayed.
