Subframe Removal

Refer to Safety Precautions on page 19.
Removal
1. Remove the seat (page 29).
2. Remove the right side cover (1) by removing
the bolt/collar (2).

4. Loosen the screw (5) on the air cleaner
connecting tube clamp (6).

5. Remove the lower subframe mounting bolts
(7) and upper subframe mounting bolt (8).
6. Remove the subframe (9) by pulling it
straight backward.

Installation
1. Loosely attach the upper and lower ends of
the subframe to the mainframe while
connecting the air cleaner connecting tube to
the carburetor.
2. Tighten the screw (1) on the connecting tube
clamp (2).
