About the settings of the control ring

You can change the function assigned to the control ring. We recommend that you
change the function of the control ring before using the water proof case. For the
operating instructions for the camera, see the Owner's Manual supplied with your
camera.
To operate the control ring of the camera, use the dial for the control ring.
About the command dial
Since operation of the command dial is not available while using the water
proof case, the following functions cannot be operated.
■ Shooting
• The amount of softening cannot be adjusted when using the pro focus
mode.
• The size of the focus frame cannot be reduced or enlarged when
F FOCUS AREA is selected.
• The shutter speed cannot be changed when the A SCENE POSITION
option is set to p.
■ Playback
• While a picture is zoomed in, the other pictures cannot be viewed.
About the settings of the control ring
When DEFAULT is selected in CONTROL RING SETTING, the dial for the control
ring can be used to set program shift, shutter speed or aperture. To use manual
focus, set FOCUS MODE to N.
The following settings cannot be changed when the control ring is set other than
DEFAULT or when N MANUAL FOCUS is selected for F FOCUS MODE.
• Program shift in P mode
• Aperture in A mode
• Shutter speed in S mode
• Aperture/Shutter speed in M mode
