RECORD SETTING Menu (still image)

* ( ) indicates the position of the shooting dial
Focus Assist (P, A, S, M, U and SCN only)
To adjust focus easily, the contour of focused parts are highlighted in color.
Setting

Assist Color (P, A, S, M, U and SCN only)
Sets the color of contour line which is displayed in the "Focus Assist" function.
Setting

WHITE BALANCE (P, A, S and M only)
Adjusts the color according to the light source.

TELE MACRO (P, A, S, M and U only)
Enables close-up shots when using the telephoto (T) end of the zoom.

TOUCH PRIORITY AE/AF (P only)
Automatically adjusts focus and brightness based on the subjects' faces or selected area.

When the shooting dial is set to A or M, and when the exposure is set to a low value, an adequate brightness may not be achieved even if the flash is fired.
