Using the HDMI settings feature
(only for models 26HL47 , 32HL67US,
37HL67S, and 42HL67US)
This new HOMI capability will be grayed out on non-HOMI
inputs.
Some HOMI legacy sources may not work properly with your
HOMI TV. If you experience any problems, please unplug
your HOMI cable first and then try setting the Lip-Sync
Latency to
Off. Adjusting the setting should allow your HOMI
legacy source to operate properly with your TV.
• Lip-Sync Latency: On
This option activates an audio/video display timjng
adjustment function that allows HOMI source devices to
accurately perform synchronization automatically.
Note: If your HoMI connection is capable of 1D8Dp and/or your
TV is capable of refresh rates greater than 60Hz, you will need
a
Category 2 cable. A conventional HOMI/O VI cable may not
work properly with this setting.
To set the HDMI Settings:

Select the appropriate HOMI input (HOMI 1, HOMI 2, or
HOMI3).
2 Press M~U and open the
Setup menu.

Highlight
HDMI Settings and press @.

Press .... or

to select
On or Off .

To save the new setting, highlight
Done and press @. To
revert to the factory defaults, highlight
Reset and press
@.

Using the SRS WOW

surround sound
feature
SRS WOW™ is a special combination of SRS Labs audio
technologies (SRS 30, SRS Focus, and SRS TruBass) that
creates a thrilling surround sound experience with deep, rich
bass from stereo sound sources. Your TV's audio will sound
fuller, richer, and wider.
To adjust the WOW™ settings:

Put the TV in
STEREO mode (lIE "Selecting stereo/SAP
broadcasts" on page 45).
2 Press M~U and open the
Audio menu.

Highlight
Advanced Audio Settings and press @.

Press

or .. to highlight the WOW feature you want to
adjust, and then press .... or

to adjust the item.
Advanced Audio Settings
• WOW: SRS 30 - To turn the surround sound effect
On or Off.
Note: If the broadcast is monaural, the SRS 30 effect
will not work.
• WOW: SRS Focus - To turn the vocal emphasis effect
On or Off.
• WOW: SRS TruBass - To select the desired bass
expansion level
(Off, Low, or High).
