The OmniBook automatic turn-off features operate only if the OmniBook is running on
battery power. If the ac adapter is powering the unit, the OmniBook and hard disk do
not automatically turn off.
When you close the lid of your OmniBook, the display automatically turns off to save
power, but the computer continues to run until the time set in Idle Time before Turn-Off
is reached.
You can also change how power is managed in the Software Configuration utility. Press
FN+F2

To customize the trackball or pointer

You can change the response speed of the trackball, swap the left and right buttons, and
change the pointer behavior.

In Control Panel, double-click Mouse to change trackball and pointer settings.
The mouse works in Windows and in MS-DOS. If you connect an external PS/2 mouse, it
normally disables the trackball—unless you press FN+F2 and disable the external
mouse.
