Problem
File attachments to
e-mail messages
are corrupted.
There is a clicking
sound heard on the telephone line, it might cause a clicking sound
telephone line.
While printing
multiple files,
printing message
box does not
disappear after
printing the first
file is finished.
Some of the icons
from the desktop
disappear.

Diagnosis/Remedy
Sender’s or recipients’ mail server does not
supportMIME encoding. Turn off MIME encoding.
If you created your e-mail service using HP dialup,
see Creating and modifying connections in chapter
6 for instructions on changing settings for the
e-mail service. If you created your e-mail service in
Inbox, tap Options on the Services menu to modify
properties for the e-mail service.
While your HP Jornada is connected to a
that can be heard through any telephone handset
on the same extension. To eliminate the clicking
sound, disconnect the telephone line from your
HP Jornada. When not in use, always disconnect
your HP Jornada from the telephone line.
