ASCII Format

This parameter allows the scanner to interface with devices requiring a 7-bit or 8-bit ASCII
protocol.
Beep on <BEL>
When this parameter is enabled, the scanner issues a beep when a <BEL> character is detected
on the RS-232C serial line. <BEL> alerts the user that an illegal entry or other important event
has occurred.
