Tools and Parts
Gather the required tools and parts before
starting installation.
Read and follow the instructions provided with
any tools listed here.
Tools Needed
•
Flat-blade and Phillips screwdriver
•
Tape measure
•
Drill and 3/16" or smaller bit
•
Level
Through-the-wall installation:
In addition to the tools listed above, the following
tools are needed for through-the-wall installation:

Saw
•
Wood Preservative
•
Caulk
•
1" (2.5cm) or thicker lumber
•
7 - #10 x 1" wood screws
Parts supplied (on some models)
Check that all parts are included in parts package
NOTE: Installation parts are supplied for double-
hung windows up to 40" (101.6cm) wide.
