Section 3 - Configuration
If you have a DSL or Cable service provider that changes your modem IP address periodically, Dynamic DNS (Domain
Name System - a method of keeping a domain name linked to a dynamic IP address) is useful. With the DCS-7510,
you can set up your DDNS service and the camera will automatically update your DDNS server every time it receives
a different IP address. Depending on the service, this update may take up to a few hours.
Enable DDNS:
Select to enable the DDNS function of the
camera.
Server Address:
Select a DDNS service provider from the drop-down
box or manually enter your server address.
Host Name:
Enter the Host Name of the DDNS service.
User name:
Enter your User Name for the DDNS service.
Password:
Enter the password for the DDNS service.
Verify
Re type the password for the DDNS service.
Password:
Timeout:
This sets the number of hours between DDNS
updates.
Status:
Indicates the current connection status of your
camera to your DDNS service.
Click Save Settings to save your changes, or click Don't Save Settings to discard your changes
